Make Happy Hour Healthy Hour ???

Whether it’s a Saint Patrick’s celebratory cocktail or a refreshing end of the week toast you’re looking for, look no further. This concoction was originally a way to get my husband to drink green juice (no joke), and has now turned into our go to refreshment. And if you want to enjoy as a mocktail, simply add more sparkling water and omit the vodka. Cheers!

  • 1/2 cup of your favorite green juice*
  • 1 shot of vodka
  • 1 teaspoon of organic lemon juice
  • 1 cup of sparkling water (or still filtered water if you prefer)

*If I don’t juice my own green juice, I generally use Trader Joe’s green juice. Just make sure the first ingredient isn’t fruit juice… The sugar is no bueno and sugary drinks are the leading cause of morning after headaches (along with excessive consumption ?). Any combo of greens, cucumber and celery are always refreshing.

Add ice to a tall glass. Pour in remainder of ingredients and stir to combine. Sip and enjoy!
